CORE Behavioral Health Program, Skills Building Community Linkage
Our CORE behavioral heatlh porgram is intended to provide mental health counseling to individiuals and families
who are dealing with psychosocial stressors in the home or environment. Our CORE services focuses on
skills building and community linkage. We strive to stablilize the living arrangement, promote reunification,
and prevent the utilization of out-of-home placemoent for consumers.
Theses services are delivered primarily to children, adolescents, and adults.
Intensive Family Intervention (IFI)
Atlanta Psychotherapy is dedicated to providing Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) serivices for children and
families utilizing a client/family centered philosophy. The philosophy consists of identifying the strengths,
needs, abilities, and preferences of the client/family, establishing a mutually agreed upon treatment
plan and outcome goals. The primary objective of the IFI program is to maintain or work
toward achieving an intact family unit. The process is designed to adhere to the
needs of families, school, and the community.
*These services include counseling in the home for individuals with Medicaid, Amerigroup,
and Peachstate. Individuals must meet elgibility requirements*
